How to Avoid the Number #1 Mistake in a Real Estate Buyers Market .

Several Real Estate commentators are declaring 2011 to be a
Real Estate Buyers Market
for South Australia .

  • What does a Real Estate Buyers Market mean for the astute purchaser ?
          If you are prepared to learn the correct Negotiation tequniques ,
          and to stop following the advice of the crowd ,
          it is possible to attain massive savings in a Buyers Market .

  • Why do most Real Estate buyers not receive any discounts even in a Buyers Market ?
          The answer to this is so simple that the majority of Buyers and Real Estate Agents
           completely miss the obvious .


         Stop being critical of your potential Property purchase !

      If we try to get a discounted Property Price , what does ' common sense ' say ?

      Start running the Property down to
      the Home owner in order to force a Price reduction ,
      by destroying the Home owners expectations .

      " I don't like this , I don't like that , this is sub-standard "

  • Do we ever think about How the Home owner feels about having their ' pride and joy ' constantly denigrated ?
          But , we tend to do this , and are sometimes even encouraged by an incorrectly
          Trained Real Estate Agent to be critical .

  • If everyone else is being critical , what can you gain by being Positive ?
          It is not easy Selling a House in a Buyers Market ,

          fewer Homes Sold in 2010 than 2009 .

         Why not use the adage
         ' Do unto others as you would have them do unto you ' in your    
          Negotiation for a Discount ?

        If we  praise the House and the Home owner we  are going to Win them
        over to our side .

       Try reading the Book ,
       ' How to Win Friends and Influence People '
       by Dale Carnegie .

       If we tell the Home owner
       that we like the Property ,
       but cannot afford the asking Price ,
       we  are much more likely to receive a sympathetic ear .

      By doing this basic Praise Negotiating Strategy
      we will Win the Property purchase
      over others being critical every time .

      Think about yourself if you were Selling your Property ,

      How would you feel if all you heard were very Negative remarks about your Home ?

  • Would you want to give a discount to someone verbally trashing your Home ?

      You may want to look at using the Services of a Buyers Agent
      to achieve the best possible result ,
      or instruct your Sales Agent that you want to use the
